key stage 3
In years 7 to 9, we teach a home-grown science course that is closely related to the National Curriculum. There is a weekly lunchtime science club for year 7 which provides fun practicals for those interested.

key stage 4
At key stage 4 most of our pupils follow the NEAB co-ordinated science Double Award syllabus. This is taught by subject specialists, and pupils are currently taught in single sex groups as we believe this aids their learning.

In 1998 our pupils achieved 70% A* - C pass rate in science G.C.S.E.s
