Diary Dates (Spring 2003)

January 2003

8th                    School reopens after the Christmas holidays. We are delighted to welcome Fred Sedgwick, poet, writer and educationalist who will work with most of our classes through the day.

13th                 The Grand Opening of our Breakfast Club. This will open from 8.30am and children can choose from sausages, toast, cereal, orange juice or milk. Morning break starts our healthy tuck shop with pieces of fruit and fresh orange juice on sale.

14th                  The year 5 Healthy Bunch will be meeting with the school nurses at 1pm

23rd                  In the morning we are visited by the Seagull Theatre Company who will work with children from years 5 and 4 on a production of “The Creation and Fall” which will be watched by the rest of the school before lunch.

29th                  In the afternoon, we will be treated to Bitesize Theatre group with their production of “Cinderella”

February

14th                  School closes for half term.

24th                  School reopens

27th                   The Full Governors Meeting starts at 2pm

March

3rd                    Jack in the Box Theatre Group will take us on a historical tour with “Invaders and Settlers” this afternoon

April

11th                  School closes for the Easter Holiday. We return on the 28th April.

 

Don’t forget SATs week is May 12th to 16th.
