Visits

The construction department in New College, Durham. We were taught plumbing and bricklaying and also the value of teamwork.

We visited the local chapel and were surprised at how beautiful it was inside.

The Fulling Mill at the foot of the Cathedral is an archaeological museum. We have worked with Tudor artefacts there.

The Agricultural College at Houghall has a brilliant nature trail

We had a wonderful day at Killhope Wheel, learning about the lead industry in County Durham

Year 6 and some of Y5 went to Earls Orchard in Richmond for a week in the Summer. We loved it!
