Walk around Walker School

This is a Stained glass window created by year 9 students using traditional leading and sandblasting techniques. The window depicts the Tyne bridge, Swan Hunter shipyard and the school's business links. It has pride of place at the school entrance.

Six of these evergreen Juniper trees were presented to the school by Bob Fallus who spent a year with us on an exchange from Irving Junior High School, Nebraska,USA.

Walker school has two "quads" which are green areas enclosed within the centre of the school where students can sit and study or relax.
