The Romans Traded items like pottery, textiles, glassware, metal objects tools and equipment, spices from Arabia, wine, corn, olive oil, cloth, wool, dye, marble, ivory and wild beast. The Romans language was mainly Latin throughout the Roman Empire. The Roman punishments were very serious and severe, they threw a lot of people to fight against Gladiators or Lions and other animals. Some people were taken as slaves in slave markets, taken to row on ships or taken to work in mines. The Romans had facilities in towns and cities like toilets, public baths, sports and shopping facilities. Aqueducts provided water for the towns but only the first floor on the houses. The towns were enclosed in walls and the graves were always outside the walls.
The Romans had powerful a powerful army and they were used to control the Empire which is on the map. The Romans used to use the roads for uses of communications and moving the army around to get to other parts of the empire. A lot of the items that we use today are probably from the Roman Era.
