The Quest - Part 2

Into the Warp Field
LiteStar and his companions were almost at the warp field now. "It's almost time" said Elija. As soon as he had finished speaking, a buzz came to their ears. "Great," said Jason. "It's invisible, but we can still go through it if we can find it. Elija was in a trance, staring at a cat. Suddenly it vanished! "Follow me," Elija cried. "It's here!" "Now, we must go through together, so on the count of three, we all step forward. One, two, THREE!"They all stepped forward. Nothing happened. Suddenly, it felt as if there was no air. LiteStar was floating on his own in a place with nothing there. His vision was blurred, but kept getting redder and redder. Suddenly he was dumped on some hot lava! He jumped off quickly, only to realise he was still on his own. Poof! Gothmog appeared. Then Elija, Jade and Jason.
"Well, we have got a map at least," Gothmog said.
"Where?" LiteStar queried.
"Here. I took it from a demon while I was in the warp field."
"Well if it is correct, at the end there is a mirror," said Elija. He ran to the end of a corridor and looked. There was!
"Look!" Jason said in alarm. "There is an ant nest through that door! Don't open it or they will..."
Click! Whirrr! The ants had opened the door! LiteStar was not expecting this. They were all at least a metre tall! "Wait till they are in a group and do a ZO RETA spell." Jason whispered to Jade.
The ants were grouping up, and running towards LiteStar and his companions! Suddenly, a bottomless pit opened up in front of them, and they all fell down! Whumph! LiteStar was hit on the head by something. He fell unconscious on the floor!
