The Adventures of LiteStar
An interactive story of a holoboy and his friends
The Five-Headed Monster - Part 1
By Josie Glover
The Meeting
LiteStar and Jenny were going on an adventure to an asteroid planet and
there they saw such wonderful things to do and see and then they saw a
three-headed monster chasing them. LiteStar shot out his power and he
thought he was being clever. But Jenny was frightened and ran away and got
lost. Jenny fell down a slippery hole onto a pile of bones
and she was frightened because she didn't know what was hidden in there.
Jenny thought she was in a dungeon for ever. Jenny started sobbing to
herself when she heard footsteps coming out of the darkness. BOO. "Argh"
Jenny screamed and tried to run away but she kept slipping down deeper into
the mud. Suddenly a five headed monster jumped out of the darkness. "Who
are you?" he growled at Jenny.
LiteStar was afraid he'd lost Jenny for ever and went back home to his own
asteroid. He knew that he could find Jenny because she was wearing the
special homing crystal.
He used his computer
to find her but he was confused when his computer told him there were two
Jennys. "What do I do now?" he thought to himself. "OK, I'll
bring them both back and see who is who". With that thought he typed on
his keyboard the command to transport them to the holodeck. Two bright
lights appeared in mid-air and formed into Jenny and Jenny. They both
pointed at each other and said "she's the monster that came from
Decaneers planet".
LiteStar said "look at the book in your pockets and tell me what you
find". So they both looked at the books and saw that one book said
Jenny's Religion and one said Monster Religions. LiteStar looked at their
eyes and saw that one of them had blue eyes and one had purple. How was
LiteStar going to tell who was the real Jenny?
