Students from Groenstad, Norway visit our school
We have now taken our email exchanges one step further and for the next three weeks have a group of nine Norwegian students accompanied by their teachers visiting our school. They are staying with host families (the parents) and we are looking at similarities and differences between our two countries, in particular how we use the land around us. Their teacher often says that the experiences they are having here will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
This visit will be followed in the summer by our children spending a week in Groenstad, Norway. This is truly global communication and without the Internet we would never be able to arrange meetings like this.
