Flight Navigator by Amit & Satwant

This web based student project was written as an entry for the 11-18 category for the 1999 STEM Projects Awards.  The project is based on information contained in the Flight Gallery and Flight Lab at the Science Museum.

The main aims of the project are:-

• Discover what keeps aeroplanes and other flight objects in the air.
• How hot and cold air play a major part in flight

Project Background
Before starting the project our Year 10 class was divided into groups containing two or three pupils.
We chose a project which linked together the Flight Gallery and the Moving Around topic in our GCSE course.
