This web based student project was written as an entry for the 11-18 category for the 1999 STEM Projects Awards. The project is based on information contained in the Health Matters Gallery at the Science Museum.
The main aims of the project are:-

| Health matters is a multimedia exhibition on the advances of modern medicine and health care.In the first section medical technologies are shown along side of documentary films.The second ,THE RISE OF HEALTH, includes many original interactive exhibits.The third section,SCIENCE IN MEDICINE incorporates ‘laboratory sculptures,an stimulating display of four areas of workspace from different medical research laboratories,AIDS,cancer and heart disease are discussed in detail. |
Project Background
Before starting the project our Year 10 class was divided into groups
containing two or three pupils.
We chose a project which linked together the Health Matters Gallery
and the Health in the Balance topic in our GCSE course.
