When formula 1 drivers are involved in an accident it can be a matter of life and death. At the moment scientist are working on a clip on chair which woks more or less like an ejector seat. When the car is involved in an accident and catches fire then the driver can be taken out alot quicker with the seat attached, so there is more of a chance of getting the driver out with less injuries.
